Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Eva (operating as MyEvaOS), a family-calendar and household-coordination assistant ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to create an Eva account. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

2. Description of the Service

Eva provides a shared household calendar, task management, AI assistant, and optional two-way Google Calendar synchronisation. Features may be added, removed, or changed at any time. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, harassing, or abusive purposes.
• Abuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to bypass any security or rate-limiting controls.
• Send spam, unsolicited messages, or malware through the Service.
• Misuse Google Calendar integrations — including pushing content that violates Google's policies or accessing calendars you do not have permission to use.
• Resell, sublicense, or use the Service to build a competing product.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe on a monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then. Unless required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.

Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice; price changes do not affect the current billing period.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the events, tasks, notes, and other content you create in Eva ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you and your household members.

6. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third parties (e.g. Google Calendar, Stripe). Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or data losses caused by third-party services.

7. Privacy

Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Eva is a productivity tool — it is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or caregiving advice. You are responsible for verifying important information (appointments, reminders, schedules) before acting on it.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eva and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Singapore.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
