Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 June 2026
Eva (operating as MyEvaOS, "Eva", "we", "us", or "our") provides a family calendar and household-coordination assistant. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Eva you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. Your name, email address, and profile photo (when you sign in with Google) and any household details you create (members, roles, display names, household timezone).
- Calendar data from Google. When you connect Google Calendar, we access the list of calendars you choose to sync and the events in those calendars — including titles, descriptions, locations, start/end times, attendees, and recurrence rules. We also create or update events you author inside Eva on the connected Google calendar.
- Content you create. Events, tasks, notes, reminders, and conversations with the Eva assistant.
- Billing data. Subscription status and Stripe customer identifiers. We do not store credit-card numbers — payments are processed by Stripe.
- Technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) used for security and abuse prevention.
2. How we use your information
- Provide the core service: sync events between Google Calendar and Eva, display them in the household calendar, and push Eva-created events back to your Google calendar.
- Generate AI assistant responses, daily briefs, and reminders.
- Operate authentication, billing, and notifications you opt into.
- Detect, prevent, and investigate abuse or security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your Google data, calendar events, or personal content to train generalized AI/ML models, serve advertising, or build profiles for resale.
3. Google API Services — Limited Use disclosure
MyEvaOS's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically, data received from Google APIs is used only to provide and improve the user-facing calendar features of Eva. We do not transfer this data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve those features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice to you). We do not use this data for serving advertisements, and we do not allow humans to read this data unless we have your affirmative consent, it is necessary for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or the data is aggregated and used for internal operations.
4. Where your data is stored
Your data is stored in an encrypted database operated on our behalf by Supabase (Lovable Cloud) and Cloudflare. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted to a small number of authorised personnel for operational and support purposes.
5. Sub-processors
- Supabase / Lovable Cloud — managed database, authentication, and hosting.
- Cloudflare — edge runtime and CDN.
- Stripe — subscription billing.
- Google — Calendar API for users who connect Google Calendar.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
6. Your rights and choices
- Access and export — request a copy of your data by emailing us.
- Correction — edit your profile and household data in Settings.
- Disconnect Google Calendar at any time from Settings → Calendar. This revokes our access tokens and stops further sync. You can also revoke access directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Delete your account by emailing us. All personal data and synced calendar data is deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
7. Data retention
We retain your account and household data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account or disconnect a calendar, the corresponding data is removed from active systems within 30 days and from backups within 90 days.
8. Children
Eva is designed for households that may include children, but accounts and billing must be managed by an adult (16+). We do not knowingly collect data from children outside the household context configured by a parent or guardian.
9. Changes to this policy
We will post material changes to this page and update the "Last updated" date. Significant changes affecting how we use Google data will be communicated by email.
